Submission of abstracts
Participants intending to contribute papers should submit their abstracts to the Conference Secretariat (skmpicmpe10@cityu.edu.hk) before 8 November 2023 HK Time (Extended), using this template. Authors should specify whether they prefer oral presentation or poster display in their submission.
​Selected papers will be considered for publication in a virtual special issue of Marine Pollution Bulletin, subject to normal reviewing procedures of the journal.
Submission of manuscripts
Submission system of manuscripts for publication in the virtual special issue in one of the four Elsevier journals, i.e., Marine Pollution Bulletin, Marine Environmental Research, Regional Studies in Marine Science, and Journal of Sea Research, will be opened by 1 February 2024 and closed by 31 May 2024. All submitted manuscripts will be subject to the normal refereeing procedures of the journal.
Accepted manuscripts will be first published as a regular paper in a normal issue of one of the four journals, and then will form the virtual special issue when all accepted articles are ready for assemblage. A dedicated website of Elsevier will showcase the virtual special issue.
